Born in Northern California, Amy Serrano Burcombe grew up in a musically talented house-hold. She started
learning at 3 years of age and has been playing
the violin for over 28 years.

Her studies consisted primarily of classical training with the Suzuki method. Every summer, she didn't miss an opportunity to attend fiddle and bluegrass camps. Amy has played a wide range of music with genres spanning classical, pop, fiddle tunes, contemporary, and improvisation.
​
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters in Business. Amy believes one should never stop learning, and continues to study through books, classes, courses, and with professionals.
​
As a child she started at the Solano County Youth Orchestra, Solano Suzuki Strings, and Trujillo's Philharmonic Orchestra in Peru. In college, at Point Loma Nazarene University, she was first chair as Concert Master. Now as a performing classical and electric violinist, she has had the opportunity to play for many companies such as
GOOGLE, Qualcomm, Porsche, Bentley, O'Gara, Hornblower Cruises, MGX Copy, artist Moein, SD City Ballet, and has played at many venues around Southern California and the world. Unless she's taking a vacation, you will find her on the weekends having the time of her life entertaining at weddings, parties, and corporate events.
Additionally, teaching music and passing on her life passion is one of Amy's greatest joys in life. She has been giving private and group music lessons for over twelve years.
